Ownership model
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, clients receive ownership or an agreed licence to final paid deliverables after all invoices for the relevant work are paid.
IK Studios retains ownership of pre-existing tools, methods, templates, systems, know-how, unpublished concepts, rejected directions, process files, and reusable studio infrastructure.
Drafts and unused concepts
Drafts, rejected concepts, explorations, internal notes, source files, and process materials are not transferred unless expressly included in the agreement.
Clients may not use rejected or unpaid concepts without written permission.
Third-party materials
Deliverables may include fonts, stock assets, plugins, frameworks, open-source software, AI tools, platform components, or other third-party materials subject to their own licences.
Clients are responsible for ongoing licence compliance for third-party materials after handoff unless IK Studios agrees to manage those licences.
AI-assisted work
AI may be used for ideation, drafts, research, variants, code assistance, image direction, or workflow support when appropriate.
AI-assisted materials may require additional clearance, human review, or replacement depending on client risk tolerance, platform rules, brand needs, and legal context.
