Deposits and booked time
Deposits, retainers, booking fees, discovery fees, and strategy fees are generally non-refundable because they reserve time, cover planning, and compensate early work.
If a written agreement provides different refund terms, that agreement controls.
Cancellation
A client may cancel a project by written notice. The client remains responsible for work performed, committed costs, approved expenses, booked time, and any cancellation or kill fee stated in the agreement.
IK Studios may cancel or pause work for non-payment, abusive conduct, missing inputs, unresolved scope, legal concerns, or material change in project feasibility.
Unused scope and credits
Unused hours, revisions, retainers, or scope do not automatically convert to refunds unless the agreement says so.
IK Studios may offer a credit at its discretion, subject to expiry and scheduling availability.
