Who is IK Studios?
IK Studios is an independent software studio based in the Netherlands. We design and operate digital products with a privacy-first approach. Our flagship and currently only public product is Vault One.
Is IK Studios the same as Vault One?
No. IK Studios is the company; Vault One is a product we build. These documents cover IK Studios and our websites. Product-specific terms and privacy details for Vault One live in the Vault One Trust Center.
Do you sell my personal data?
No. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising. This applies to our websites and our products.
Where is my data stored?
We favour EU-based hosting. For Vault One specifically, the product is designed to keep your connected financial data on your device rather than in a central database. See the GDPR Compliance page for detail.
How do I exercise my GDPR rights?
Email support@ikstudios.nl from the address linked to your account. We may verify your identity before acting. The GDPR Compliance and Privacy Preferences pages explain each right.
How do I delete my data or account?
Our Data Deletion Policy explains what gets deleted, what we may need to keep, and how to request erasure. In Vault One, you can delete your account from Settings.
Do your websites use cookies?
Our websites use only the essential storage needed to work. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can review choices on the Cookie Settings page and read the Cookie Policy.
Do you use AI?
Yes, thoughtfully. Vault One includes assistive AI features that keep a human in control, and we use AI tools in our own development. Our AI Usage Policy explains the boundaries.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Please follow our Responsible Disclosure Policy and email support@ikstudios.nl. We welcome good-faith research and will acknowledge your report.
Can I use the IK Studios or Vault One name and logo?
Only within the limits of our Trademark Policy and Brand Asset Usage Policy. Press and media should see the Press & Media Usage Policy.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds depend on how you purchased and where you live. Our Refund Policy sets out EU withdrawal rights and how app-store purchases are handled.
Are these documents legal advice?
No. They describe how IK Studios operates and the terms on which we provide our services. They are not legal advice to you. For your own situation, consult a qualified professional.
