Licence grant
Subject to this agreement and any applicable subscription, IK Studios grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our software on devices you control, for your own lawful use.
Restrictions
Except where mandatory law says otherwise, you may not:
- Copy, sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits.
- Remove or alter proprietary notices, or circumvent licensing, security, or access controls.
- Use the software to build a competing product or in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold. IK Studios and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the software and its design. You keep ownership of your own data and content.
Open-source components
Our software includes third-party open-source components, each under its own licence. Those licences govern that component and, where they grant you broader rights, take precedence for it. See Open Source Notices.
App-store distribution
If you obtain our software through an app store, that store's standard licensed-application terms may also apply, and the store — not IK Studios — handles its own purchase, billing, and refund processes for that channel.
Updates
We may provide updates that fix, improve, or change the software. Some updates may be required for continued use or security. This agreement covers updates unless an update comes with its own terms.
Term & termination
This licence lasts while you comply with it and hold any required subscription. It ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and remove the software. Provisions that by nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits — continue.
Disclaimer & liability
The software is provided “as is” as described in the Software Disclaimer, and our liability is limited per the Limitation of Liability, without affecting your non-excludable statutory rights.
